Spreading the Word About the Valley Forge Gateway Trail
The launch of the Valley Forge Gateway Trail Partnership and the installation of the Forging the Path Forward public art campaign are just the beginning of a larger effort to build awareness and excitement around the critical gap in the Circuit Trails network. In July, the Partnership launched VFGatewayTrail.com, a central resource for project information, updates and ways to get involved, along with a new Facebook page. This month, a campaign focusing on digital and Meta advertising launched to introduce the trail to audiences throughout the region, with advertising continuing through the end of the year and returning in spring and fall 2027. Press outreach is also underway to generate earned media coverage and keep the Valley Forge Gateway Trail top-of-mind.
Grassroots marketing efforts will also play an important role in spreading the word. Look for the Partnership out in the community, tabling at events throughout Upper Merion Township and beyond to answer questions, share information and connect with future trail users and supporters. In 2027, the Partnership will introduce events of its own to create even more opportunities for engagement. Want to help out? Share your interest in volunteering by emailing info@vfgatewaytrail.com.
Together, these efforts will help build awareness of the Valley Forge Gateway Trail, grow support for the project and keep the community informed as plans move forward.
